Truist awards Beyond Expectations with CRA Community Development Grant

Dec. 7 — Truist Community Development Department has awarded $15,000 to Beyond Expectations to launch the creation of our NEW Future Founders Fund. Created for students following successful completion of our Young Entrepreneurs Academy with start-up funds and support to get their business ideas off the ground.

The exciting announcement was made at our 2024 Beyond the Hype Business & Career Summit and presented to the inaugural cohort of students in attendance who were leading the LIVE event production.

Truist served as the 2024 Title Sponsor for this year’s Summit.

Grant award presented by Linda A. Medley, Esq. (Senior Vice President, CRA Community Development) and Nedje Cineus (Branch Manager, Pennington NJ) shared that “your organization's mission is a perfect fit with the Truist corporate purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities.”

Truist also provided Beyond Expectations with twenty (20) PC Tablets in support of our Young Entrepreneurs Academy.

We also extend special thanks to “Team Truist” - a group of awesome Volunteers who made time to wrap gifts, prepare promotional items, and attend in-person to provide LIVE support for the day!
