Frank E. Underwood, Sr.

Frank Underwood is chairman of the Central Virginia Film Institute, one of only 49 official organizations sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Pictures to host Oscar Night America. He is a devoted father of four talented children, writer/artist Frank Underwood, Jr. and accomplished actor/director Blair Underwood. A retired US colonel, and highly respected business leader,  Frank has provided unparalleled counsel to Beyond Expectations. 


David Boorboor.

In 2001, David graduated from Rowan University the only senior to receive the Robert Donovan Award for excellence in Radio, TV, and Film. David went on to found Eye in the Sky Entertainment whose first project was the pro bono documentary, Gene Webster: The Mother Teresa of Atlantic City. In addition to winning best director of a documentary, David's film was solely responsible for raising $5 million for the nonprofit organization, Friends of Gene Webster.


Mark Elson. 

Founder and CEO of MAM Entertainment, Mark Elson has spent 22 years in the entertainment industry. He has spent the last 16 years in the Theater Exhibition industry working for the top 10 largest exhibitors in the U.S. Mark has extensive experience in management and event production.


Johanna Greeson, PhD, MSS, MSLP.

Johanna is the principal at Greeson Consulting and director of policy and research at North Carolina Social Justice project. She completed her PhD in social work at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Her work experience includes conducting a multi-year outcome evaluation for a foster care agency. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles in the area of natural mentoring, evidence-based practices for youth in foster care, and residential group care. Johanna volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem and a youth mentor. 


Eric Fiedler.

Eric has a strong background in marketing and development for not-for-profit organizations. His experience includes outreach and development work for New England Business Associates, an organization that assists individuals with disabilities in attaining their employment and education goals. Prior to that, Eric was the Director of Development for Independence Public Media, a not-for-profit which broadcasts an innovative public television  station in the greater Philadelphia region.


He Len Chung, PhD

Dr. Chung joined The College of New Jersey as an Associate Professor after completing the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Postdoctoral Scholar Psychiatric Epidemiology Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She has received the Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience (MUSE) Award twice, working with students on three publications and ten presentations at peer-reviewed conferences. She has also been recognized for identifying partnership opportunities to engage students, including nearly 20 from her Collaborative Research Lab who have participated in Beyond Expectations programs over the past few years.
