December 3 - TCNJ Bonner Center, Interactive Media students and Beyond Expectations collaborate to bring historical contributions of Trenton's musicians to life.


December 2 - Beyond Expectations celebrates #GivingTuesday because it inspires charities, families, businesses and individuals  to take collaborative action to improve their local communities.

Thousands of young people all across the United States transition out of foster care. Even for those with jobs, they often don't have the lump sum needed for a place of their own.  

Our 18 Cookie Project was created to help.


November 22 - Beyond Expectations hosted a screening in Trenton, NJ to showcase new television projects created during our Media and Young Professionals Leadership Initiative. Participants received backpacks filled with supplies donated by our partner Comcast.


October 11 - For the third year in a row, Leontyne Anglin, was selected to serve on the Judge's Panel for the WHYY Youth Media Awards. Over 150 submissions by young filmmakers were reviewed from across the region. 2014 winners were announced at the screening.


October 11 - TV Speedcrewing Workshop @ Riverview Studios featuring students from the First Baptist Church of Trenton. 


October 2 - Beyond Expectations was featured on Publicity Hound highlighting our successful collaborative efforts with corporations and community based organizations.


September 17 - One of Beyond Expectations very first students, Nicole Howard, was chosen from a competitive selection process to work with as part of the media team covering Oprah's "The Life You Want Weekend" Tour in Washington, DC.

February 18 -- Beyond Expectations is featured in "The Wall", an issues-focused publication of The College of New Jersey Bonner Center and Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness that shines a spotlight on homelessness throughout the region.

The paper provides in-depth interviews of nonprofit leaders, community advocates, and is designed as a resource for homeless residents including lists of shelters, health care facilities, food pantries, as well as human service organizations.
