It's a wrap!

We closed down the summer with a phenomenal group of students from Trenton, Princeton, and Willingboro High School Making Visions Possible program who participated in our Sports Media Program.

With the engaging hands-on instruction of Executive Producer Leontyne Anglin, the students worked together to develop original show ideas, conducted interviews with the special guests, created a production schedule, and taped 3 LIVE segments in the studio!

All students received certificates and their own personal autographed photo of Former Philadelphia Eagle Reggie "Truck" Brown.

Thanks to MVP Program Director Greg Smith, Guest Facilitators Olena Feltes, Reggie Brown, and Princeton Community Television for providing the great venue.

More accolades for our former student and media intern Chental Bembry

Heartfelt congratulations to Chental for her continued and well-deserved accolades. In addition to her recognition earlier this year at the BET Honors, she has also been recognized as a Making a Difference M.A.D. Girl Honoree.

Better yet, she was invited on stage with two other phenomenal young honorees who were all hailed as stellar examples of achievement in education by our  First Lady Michelle Obama.

Beyond Expectations student goes behind the scenes with Community Organizers from across the country!

Beyond Expectations student Robert McGill was invited to work as part of the professional production crew with Ms. Leontyne Anglin for a multi-city event which brought together leaders and youth from Trenton, Camden, Philadelphia, and Ferguson, MO to discuss civics, policy, and the basics of community organizing.

Attendees included representatives from organizations across the country -- including the White House.

Robert did a great job as a 2nd Camera Operator and Production Assistant. It was an exciting chance for him to gain real life experience at a large scale event. And ... since successfully completing our TV Studio Production class, Robert has been hired by a national movie theatre!
