September 4 -- Leontyne Anglin, director and executive producer, has been invited to serve again as a judge for the 2013 Youth Media Awards hosted by WHYY-TV. The awards honor the best media produced by youth in grades 6-12 in the Philadelphia region.
This year, more than 100 entries have been submitted by students in five categories: documentary, narrative, new report, open, and middle school. Selected videos will be screened at WHYY during an evening film festival in October where prizes will be awarded and selected winners will be shown on WHYY's YArts Channel.
Summer Program students developed the concept and content for an original Public Service Announcement (PSA) to showcase the collaboration between Beyond Expectations and The First Tee of Greater Trenton.

Bordentown, NJ — Youth from the Trenton YMCA completed a live taping at Riverview Studios of original segments they created in the Beyond Expectations Television Production (BETV) Program. Students are members of the Leaders In Training and Pathfinders programs which help prepare middle school youth (ages 12-15) for the challenges of leadership.
In addition to working as talent on the set, students served on the crew as Camera Operators, Floor Managers, Audio Assistants, and Audio Mixers in the control room.
