We're Gearing Up For Our Next Corporate Day-of-Service Project!
We're excited about this opportunity with a wonderful team at Home Depot to work side by side with students and volunteers on a wonderful community project that can help to leave a lasting impression for many years to come ...
BE has touched the lives of thousands of youth and families across the tri-state area since its inception in 1999 through Media Education and Service Leadership. We're collaborating with one of our Burlington County locations, Making Visions Possible Program (MVP), where we launched our very first film program nearly a decade ago!
Over the years, BE's service leadership projects have brought together community organizations with corporations to transform rooms in shelters for runaway youth, restoration and beautification of historical sites, and building desks from scratch for Media Labs where computer instruction is provided to youth and seniors.
MVP impacts students and families by providing mental health, case management, academic assistance, healthy youth development programming and other community service initiatives. 2016 also marks 10 years of partnership between MVP and Willingboro High School.
To honor this milestone anniversary, we will work collectively to create a Serenity Garden to serve as a commemorative space for students and their families to use as a safe haven and oasis for peace and tranquility.
The design was inspired by a few talented students in conjunction with Home Depot leadership, making this another truly participatory initiative.
Stay tuned ...
MVP is a partnership between Willingboro School District, EIRC, and DFCP’s Officeof School-Linked Services.
