We’re making our way to the NBA 2KL Finals!

During the course of the 2024 season, the NBA 2K League will award $2 million in cash prizes. Through our Young Entrepreneurs Academy, we’ve been focused beyond PLAYING the game to actually RUNNING the game — specifically as Tournament Organizers.

Our students have already learned that Gaming/Esports is a billion dollar industry with multiple doors of entry (from animation, coding, graphic design, marketing, sponsorships, and more.)

Following our in-depth Esports Crash Course and thanks to our ongoing partnership with the NBA 2K League, we’re making our way back to Washington, DC again this year to experience the 5v5 Finals Tournament LIVE!

Stay tuned for highlights…

A transformative conversation on Mental Health

Thankful to Michael Wray, M.Ed, MS for leading such a transformative conversation for our young entrepreneurs.

With so many issues facing young people every single day, we dedicated an entire session as a safe space for them to not just listen -- but to share freely and learn actual activities they could put into practice right away.

Michael brings unique life experiences to his work as a School Counselor taking a solutions focused therapeutic approach in conjunction with mindfulness-based techniques believing that students are not truly able to reach their highest potential if we do not adequately address the challenges they face from a socioemotional perspective especially as it pertains to coping and resilience.

So much positive feedback from the students (and adults who also joined) as he walked us ALL step-by-step through practical examples of gratitude, reflection, and breathing exercises. We wrapped with tools, resources, even mobile apps the entire family can use to manage the stressors of school and life together.
