August 3 — Started this session talking to students about getting their money right! As we proceed through conversations about player monetization, prize pools and sponsorships our invited guest from Truist Bank joined us for “Bank on Your Success” presentation. Special thanks to Matthew Winston, VP of Multicultural Banking for pouring into students with a personal style that kept them engaged from start to finish.
Coach Todd followed with detailed walkthrough and demo of OBS, overlays, event setup, bracketology and livestreaming tournaments on Twitch. Wrapped with students participating in a mock tourney setup and a homework assignment to put the teachings to practice implementing their own player tournament to discuss in our next session!
